
Plan - This is the initial shape that I have been experimenting with for all the rooms I'll be working on for this project. The idea of the 'hourglass' shape is meant to provide a link to women and emphasise on femininity. I am however reconsidering using this particular shape due to its complexity - perhaps would it be too overpowering since we are meant to focus on the development of interior design.



Elevation - I inclined the roof so that there is a sense of progression (one of the keywords). The highest point of the space (right) is meant to contain the woman's relaxation/quiet space - hence it is heightened (it is meant to represent her sanctuary), whereas the left one is focused on the 'housewife' aspect - hence lower.
